Refund eligibility is different from cancellation eligibility. Some services are non-refundable, some may qualify for partial refunds, and some may result in credits or vouchers instead of money back. Supplier-controlled rules may apply to tours, package components, hotels, resorts, flights if introduced, cruises if introduced, rail if introduced, and car rentals if introduced.
Travel Boutique Trip is an independent online travel agency and travel-assistance provider. It is not an airline, hotel, cruise line, rail operator, car rental company, tour operator, government agency, or the official website of any third-party travel supplier unless expressly stated.
2. Refund calculation and deductions
Refund amounts may be reduced by supplier penalties, cancellation charges, non-refundable deposits, used services, payment-processing costs, currency-conversion differences, agency or service fees, taxes that are not recoverable, and other disclosed charges. 4. Processing time
Approved refunds are generally returned to the original payment method. Processing time may depend on the supplier, payment processor, financial institution, payment method, and applicable law. Any estimated timeline shown to the customer is an estimate unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
Verified refund processing time is currently listed as Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days after approval..
5. Credits, vouchers, partial refunds, and failed services
Some suppliers may offer credits or vouchers instead of monetary refunds. Partial refunds may apply when only part of a service is unused or eligible. If a supplier fails to provide a service, available remedies may still depend on supplier terms, documentation, and applicable law.
6. Duplicate charges and chargebacks
If you believe a duplicate charge or billing error occurred, contact support promptly with payment records. Filing a chargeback while a supplier or refund review is pending may affect timing, record access, and communication with payment providers.
7. Refund-status inquiries
Refund reviews may move through stages such as request received, documentation requested, supplier review, approved, declined, refund initiated, or funds posted by the financial institution. Keep written confirmations, receipts, invoices, supplier notices, and support correspondence.
